"Junko Hagiwara’s works are completely unpretentious watercolours of inner city streets (titles such as Newtown Intersection, Bay Street Erskinville and Town Hall Hotel, Newtown let you know where you are) and blow the other two artists out the door. Hagiwara’s got a charming sense of perspective where all the buildings and people and trees and street signs pile up on top of one another and her use of the medium is assured. "
